Lilli was helping her daddy with the dishes this morning (a momentous occasion, let me assure you- I might even want to write it down!) and somehow the topic turned to babies taking a bath in the kitchen sink. I told Lilli we have pictures of her taking a bath in our kitchen sink, when she was just a baby, and I promised to show her when they were done. Lilli loves looking at pictures of herself, especially as a baby.
Once I looked it up and showed it to her, it was so cute I had to post it, even though I'm pretty sure I posted it on this blog 3 years ago when I took it.
Even though I'm so proud of who Lilli has become, her very grown up almost 4 year old self, I always get a little wistful looking at old pictures like this. Motherhood was still so new then, every day brought a new experience. It also makes me long for our baby boy even more.
